5. Experience implementing security measures for both cloud and on-premises environments
6. Knowledge of Windows OS, Linux OS, MAC OS, and various development IDE for Java, .Net, NodeJS, etc.
7. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
8. Networking knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
Key responsibilities:
1. Cloud infrastructure management: Configure and optimize cloud servers, security, updates, etc.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure high availability and performance
3. Add and manage FTP accounts and file management
4. Domain & sub-domain management
5. Email configure and regularly update security for that
6. Security and compliance: Implement security best practices for both cloud and local systems, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management
7. Comply with industry regulations and internal security policies, security and hardening of the systems
8. Work on SSL lookup and upgradations, work on firewall and anti-virus security enhancement, and IP and Port configuration and leakage monitoring
9. On-premises systems administration: Work on setup and configuration, Microsoft servers
10. Assist with database management studio for various databases (MySQL, SQLite, MSSQL, Redis, Mongo, etc.)
11. Utilize automated tools provided by the cloud platform for patching virtual machines
12. Collaboration and documentation: Collaborate with other IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of systems, like FTP, WAR deployment and load testing, IP whitelist and IP load tracking
13. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
14. Systems administration: Strong background in managing Windows and Linux server environments
